Meet Laura
Laura Goldsmith MS, ATC, CES, is a Certified Athletic Trainer with over a decade of experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance training. With a background that includes working with collegiate and high school athletes, orthopedic rehab patients, and active adults of all ages, she brings a deep understanding of functional mobility and strength.
Laura believes a strong, resilient body is the foundation for a fulfilling life. Her mission is to help people build strength that lasts— not just for the gym, but for everything they love to do outside of it. She blends evidence-based practices with personalized coaching to help clients move better, get stronger, and maintain long-term physical health. So whether it’s hiking, sports, playing with your kids, or simply moving pain-free through daily life, she’s here to help you stay strong, mobile, and injury-free for the long haul.
When she’s not working with clients, Laura spends most of her time with her family (husband, three young kids, and dog) having fun, catching Middlebury College sporting events, and exploring the outdoors.

“If you have the privilege to train with Laura, you are incredibly lucky.
I trained with Laura for three years, following a stubborn, months-long knee injury. At the beginning, my only goal was injury prevention (which I knew would be tricky given I was dealing with everything from knees, feet, back and elbows!). When she asked if there was anything I wasn’t comfortable doing, I said no kettlebell swings (another injury culprit).
Very quickly, I saw real progress in my overall strength, and my goals started to change. What was originally “don’t get hurt again,” turned into hitting new max weights on my deadlifts, managing more pull-ups, adding another push-up, etc. Each week, I was adding new goals to the list because Laura made me realize I was more than capable of hitting them.
With her hyper-focus on proper form, I realized I was stronger than I had given myself credit for.
And the kettlebell swings that were once off-limits? They’re now a regular part of my workouts.
I also worked with Laura throughout my first pregnancy, and I never once questioned a single workout she programmed. I felt very confident training with her (and even increased my sessions toward the end of pregnancy).
